Dr. Tang

Dr. TangDr. Tang is a board-certified retina physician and surgeon, and has been involved with clinical research in finding new treatments for retinal eye diseases.  He currently holds teaching appointments at Harvard Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine.

Dr. Tang received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed an opthalmology residency at the Eye Institute of the Medical College of Wisconsin.  He subsequently completed a vitreoretinal fellowship at Opthalmic Consultants of Boston, and became Assistant Professor of Opthalmology in Boston University School of Medicine.  He has pioneered a new surgical concept in the treatment of retinal-vascular diseases and has lectured nationally and internationally on his work.  He is a fellow of the American Academy of Opthalmology Society, Association of Research in Vision and Opthalmology, and New England Opthalmologic Society.  Dr. Tang is board-certified by the American Board of Opthalmology.
